The reconstruction work for the byzantine hippodrome was carried out with Jonathan Bardill between 2008 and 2010 in connection with the Pera Museum exhibition Hippodrome and Atmeydani: A Stage for Istanbul’s History (2010). The resulting computer model is the most detailed reconstruction of a Roman circus to date.
